This will be a rewarding opportunity to meet like minded individuals, engage in discussions and share and listen to one another’s stories in an interactive, learning, fun environment. Through a series of guest speakers, morning fitness, creative workshops and discussion groups we hope to create action plans and engage individuals between the ages of 19-25 and increase diabetes awareness amongst this age group.
This weekend is also about creating memories, fun and relaxation. Immerse yourself in the charming ambience of the Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre, located in London, while enjoying catered meals, including gourmet snacks and a formal dinner with an interactive 1920’s-themed murder mystery, Murder at the Four Deuces. Picture flapper dresses, boas, gangsters and black and white ties in the scandalous times of the rip-roaring 1920’s and amongst this the discovery of insulin.
