If you go to the website listed above and fill out a form, the company will sent you a coupon/card for a free HumaPen. It's a great pen (terrific quality), but normally it'll cost you $90.

If anyone is on Humalog (or any other insulins from this company), I'd recommend getting a free pen asap - who knows how long the offer will last?

    When I was 21ish, I tried

When I was 21ish, I tried the pen, however when I used it, my sugars were so out of control. I talked to my doctor about my sugars, so he adjusted the insulin, but to no avail. After about a week or so using the pen, and my sugars being sky high, I went back to the needles. Also, when I got this pen, I used a vial of insulin that was already premixed so that I would only have to give myself my normal 2 shots a day.
About 5-6 years ago, I thought I would give it a shot again. This time though, I got my insulin in seperate vials so that I would actually have to give myself a shot of N and then a shot of R, both in the am and in the pm. Thinking that that was what my problem was that the insulin wasn't the right mixture. However, the same thing happened again, my blood sugars went sky high.
I was not doing anything different than what I was doing when using the needle.
So, needless to say, I am now using the needles once again and do not think that I will try the pen again.
Not sure if this has happened to anyone else or not, but the pen is a good idea, but just not for ME!!!!
